Program /Domain Architect in Dallas, TX

The Domain/Program Architect is responsible for the domain architecture of the Retail Information System (RIS) store platform and sets direction for the future state architecture as technologies change. Description/Requirements:
. Responsible for working with a joint business, I.S. and partner team to create technology and architectural and infrastructural roadmaps to reflect the technology solutions that support business direction
. Develops and maintains the architecture framework, policies and guidelines for the RIS store platform and represents the RIS platform in the enterprise architecture committee
. Consults with design, delivery and deployment teams for architectural and data modeling issues and considerations. Reviews and approves solutions proposed by design, delivery and deployment teams.
. Collaborates with vendor partners to evaluate technology solutions
. Responsible for presentation of Technology and Infrastructural Roadmaps to I.S. and Business Executives in Business Terms in support of Business Roadmaps
. Oversees the End-to-End solution architecture for store solutions(see the list below) and works with the other domain architects and enterprise architect for integration of the stores architecture with their interfacing applications.

. Fuel management
. Serves as a subject matter expert for the store technology platform that comprises the following:
. .net SOA architecture
. Mobile device architecture - hardware, OS, applications
. Software, hardware, network and retail peripherals (payment authorization devices, scanners, POS, printers etc.) from an architectural point of view
. Relational databases, SQL Server
. PCI (Payment Card) standards and platform security solutions
. ARTS
. Responsible for managing hardware life cycle for the store platform.
