Invensys is currently looking for a Senior Systems Business Analyst located in our Plano office.

Position Description
Business Analyst reporting to Director of Sales Enablement serves as the primary liaison between Global Sales & Marketing to IT organization as the program owner of the IPS CRM Sales Automation Tool.
Under general direction, formulates and defines CRM system scope and objectives to ensure sales organization satisfaction of CRM system enhancements by managing the details of overall project requirements, schedules, budgets, and deliverables. Typically uses business and project program management skills to complete tasks. Extensive interaction with senior leadership, sales, application development and other members of cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or enhanced functionality within CRM tool.

Position Functions
• Business group representative who acts as liaison with technical solutions/support groups to identify business processes, systems, and product requirements. Researches, identifies and develops solutions to problems. Analyzes business and user needs, documents requirements and translates into proper system requirements specifications. Evaluates the business implications of situations quickly, is practical, and knows the right things to do and when to do them. Provide recommendations on methods to improve business processes.
• Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors and implements solution. Demonstrates good judgment and follows standard practices and procedures in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions. Regularly works with confidential sales information and data.
• Able to interact with all levels or organization to analyze, define, test, and implement business systems. Ability to define and quantify program changes, develop business proposals, resolve operating problems and provide user training. Manage project scope, change management issues and establish appropriate KPI’s for measuring key program criteria.
• Development of professional expertise and proficiency with IPS Way sales methodology, tools, systems, and procedures is required to accomplish the job.

Position Requirements
• Requires a minimum 6+ years of professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience of 3+ years in business or program analyst functions.
• Undergraduate degree or related business experience.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, MS Project, Visio, Access or other database product.
• Self-starter with ability to multi-task, prioritize in a fast pace, non-structured setting.
• Skilled at supporting various activities concurrently and accurately complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Demonstrated communication savvy both written and verbal ability to document requirements, build consensus, communicate internally and externally, and work with all levels of leadership and technical personnel.
• Proven track record for systems development and deployment.
