May perform one or more of the following:
This position will be responsible for Installation, Maintenance, Support, Trouble Resolution, Root Cause Analysis and SLA maintenance for a large, enterprise wide LAN/WLAN/WAN environment with a focus on Wireless LAN. In addition to daily SLA compliance and routine break-fix duties, this position will provide architecture design and guidance for the Wireless LAN using a DAS. Will develop and manage small to large projects to enhance & expand the network, including cost analysis, detailed design, project planning, implementation, detailed documentation and cross-training of peers. The selected individual must demonstrate excellent customer service & team building skills and will be required to routinely interact directly customers and to participate in a “team environment.” This position will frequently be called upon to diagnose difficult network performance problems and interact with application support teams to diagnose network / application performance issues. This position operates in a 7x24x365 SLA driven environment, requiring rotating on-call duty, flexible work hours.

Education and Typical Years of Experience:
Demonstrated, in-depth, LAN/WLAN/WAN support & engineering experience (5+ years)
Must have experience and certification(s) for Aruba Wireless Networks
Superior knowledge, skills and experience with Mobile Access DAS
Superior knowledge, skills and experience with Air Magnet Enterprise solutions
Experience in supporting large, complex LAN/WLAN/WAN networks in a large, enterprise environment
Superior knowledge, skills & experience with Cisco routing and switching Infrastructure in a multi-Protocol environment.
Strong working knowledge of structured cabling systems, network facilities, electrical, UPS, etc.
In-depth experience and talent in using packet / protocol analyzers to identify and remedy application and network performance issues
Positive, proactive, “can do” attitude with the ability to work alone as an individual contributor, as a technical lead when required, and as a participant in a team environment
Willingness to participate in rotating schedules and share on-call duties
Ability to respond to on-call / on-site situations within required SLA parameters

Specific Requirements:
POSITION REQUIRES PROFESSIONAL ENTERPRISE LEVEL EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS TO BE CONSIDERED.
College degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering (or related technical degree and experience)
Relevant Cisco technical certifications (CCNP, CCDA/DP,CCIE etc)
Relevant Aruba Wireless technical certifications (ACMA, ACMP)
IP, DHCP, DNS administration experience
Knowledge of routing Protocols (EIGRP, RIP, OSPF, BGP, etc)
WAN technologies knowledge is a must (P-2-P, Frame Relay, ATM, MPLS, ISDN, DSL/broadband)
Network security and IPSec knowledge is a plus
Content switching knowledge is a plus (Cisco CSS, F5, NetScaler)
IDS, Firewall, DMZ, VPN, ISP, TACACS, Radius, etc. experience
