May perform one or more of the following:
EUC (End User Computing) Technical Solutions Design
Description
Provide expert judgment and analysis for the design, development and implementation of Help Desk and Desktop solutions in response to prospective client RFP/RFI requests. Resolve complex technical issues related to service levels, service desk call handling and desktop services including platform, operating system, infrastructure migration, equipment refresh, and physical and logical consolidation .Evaluate and price help desk and desktop servicesdesign options for new and existing customers according to RFP/RFI requirements.Analyze, extract and interpret design requirements from RFP/RFI documents.Write technical proposals.Present technical designs to prospective clients.Demonstrate help desk and desktop subject matter expertise.Interface withsystems engineering and service delivery organizations to ensure technical solution architecture is optimal (cost competitive), operable (meets ACS enterprise architecture standards) and profitable.

Education and Typical Years of Experience
Bachelor’s degree / technical certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent of 8-10 years of End User Computing operations and design experience.

Special Requirements
Experience with enterprise - class asset management, change management and patch management tools.
Client-facing skills and experience.
Communicate effectively with internal and external personnel/clients, both verbally and in writing.
Exhibit strong organizational, operational, team building, interpersonal, client relationship, and technical leadership skills.
Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all levels of staff within and outside the Company.
Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Demonstrate broad-based technical acumen and experience to operate effectively in a fast paced customer driven environment.
Provide technical solutions design supporting service desk and desktop managed solutions.
There is frequent travel with this position.

This job is:


Customer Facing


50% travel possible


New business development


Requires working knowledge of Word and Excel


Requires working knowledge of Remedy, SCCM and other desktop and service desk management tools.



This job is not:


Help desk or desktop operations


Help desk development (Remedy or Peregrine)


Desktop tools development (SCCM, Image building, etc.)


8 to 5 and may require long hours at times.
