EDI Coordinator (24481) in Dallas, TX

We are currently looking for an EDI Coordinator to join our team in Dallas, TX. Job Responsibilities: The Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Coordinator manages and coordinates the planning, scheduling and implementation of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) communication and other E-Business technology with electronic trading partners. Responsibilities will include communicating with trading partners, testing and implementing EDI documents using knowledge of standards and business systems, conducting tests and enabling trading partners to send and receive EDI documents, processing failed documents, troubleshooting problems including communication, failures and issues and working with trading partners to resolve EDI issues. Communicate with trading partners Coordinate, implement and test EDI with new trading partners Manage trading partner EDI/XML relationships and integrations Provide EDI support for trading partners and internal users to resolve any operational issues Daily operational support including review of operational reports and addressing issues as required Analyze current implementation in order to make recommendations for process improvements Document procedures Required Skills: Healthcare claims processing or EDI background Must be detail oriented Must be customer service oriented Desired Skills: Good understanding of ASC X12 EDI standards and e-business, knowledge of EDI translation, communication, and interface environments Experience in standard EDI transactions including 270/271, 276/277, 278, 820, 834, 835, and 837 Need to know difference between EDI transactions and understand EDI lingo Minimum Educational Requirements: Some college preferred More about Perot Systems At Perot Systems, we are looking for candidates that have a high level of integrity, are tenacious and can thrive in a team environment.
