Customer Engineer - SUN Microsystems in Dallas, TX

Connexion Systems & Engineering, a Boston based IT and Engineering Solutions Company immediately seeks individuals with the following skills:

Customer Engineer ? SUN Microsystems

We are looking for a self-motivated, dedicated individual who is ready to put their technical skills to work in a fast-paced, customer focused environment.
Utilizing your technical knowledge, you will have the responsibility of responding to customer calls in a timely and efficient manner to troubleshoot, analyze and diagnose SUN servers.
You will provide problem resolution or refer more complex issues to Sr. Customer Engineer.
Maintenance of inventory and documentation of activity will demonstrate strong organizational skills.

The ideal candidate that we are searching for will possess a High School Diploma or GED and have a minimum of three-five years in servicing verifiable break-fix experience on a variety of SUN servers.

Experience with SUN Microsystems, HP 9000, and IBM RS6000 servers is a plus.

Demonstrated ability to manage competing demands, strong skills in problem solving and ability to work with attention to detail highly desirable.

Candidate must be able to work a rotating on call 24x7 schedule as needed.

M-F, 8am to 5pm Shift
