The BearingPoint Managed Services Team is currently searching for a PeopleSoft HCM Application Specialist

Performance Profile:
This individual will serve as a Level 3 PeopleSoft HCM Application Specialist, providing BearingPoint managed application services clients functional and technical support in PeopleSoft HCM Applications 8.8 or higher (i.e. HR, PY, BB, BA, Query, Application Security). The Level 3 PeopleSoft HCM Application Specialist will also provide expertise with specific PeopleSoft product module/suite business processes. This individual will comply with BearingPoint standard operating procedures, and ensure BearingPoint client users are treated courteously and provided a positive trouble ticket reporting experience. This individual will also perform client transition tasks, knowledge transfer assignments, and audit assignments for BearingPoint clients to which he/she is assigned. This individual should maintain/exceed service level agreement metrics for their assigned BearingPoint clients. They will provide Level 3 PeopleSoft HCM Applications technical and functional support, and business advisory/analysis for BearingPoint clients.
Principle Duties:
L3 PeopleSoft HCM Application Specialist will troubleshoot and resolve trouble tickets from BearingPoint clients for PeopleSoft Applications 8.x HCM (i.e. HR, PY, BB, BA, Query, Application Security).
L3 PeopleSoft HCM Application Specialist will resolve ?how to?, usage questions and will also be very knowledgeable with specific PeopleSoft product module/suite business processes.
L3 PeopleSoft Application HCM Specialist will maintain and update PeopleSoft specifications for application customizations and reports (including SQR, Crystal, nVision, PS/Query, processes, workflows, etc.).
L3 PeopleSoft Application HCM Specialist will track and initiate, PeopleSoft Application updates and fixes, patches, and legal changes.
L3 PeopleSoft HCM Application Specialist is responsible for performing assignments on-call.
L3 PeopleSoft HCM Application Specialist is responsible for ensuring the PeopleSoft technical calendar and operational run books are accurate and coincide with the business calendar of their assigned clients.
L3 PeopleSoft HCM Application Specialist is responsible for performing any documented procedures, batch processes, or scripts according to BearingPoint operational run books and standard operating procedures.
L3 PeopleSoft HCM Application Specialist is responsible for performing trouble ticket resolution and work to ensure the BearingPoint - Managed Application client service level metrics are maintained or exceeded.
L3 PeopleSoft HCM Application Specialist is responsible for training and mentoring the Level 1 and 2 PeopleSoft HCM Application Specialists as needed.
L3 PeopleSoft HCM Application Specialist is responsible for initiating, testing, documenting, and managing PeopleSoft application technical assistance requests to resolution per the client service level agreements.
L3 PeopleSoft HCM Application Specialist is responsible for performing client transition tasks, knowledge transfer assignments, and audit assignments for BearingPoint clients to which he/she is assigned.
L3 PeopleSoft HCM Application Specialist is responsible for providing business advisory/analysis services to leverage client's PeopleSoft application investment.
L3 PeopleSoft HCM Application Specialist will be able to extract data using PeopleSoft Query to the specifications and requirements of the client.
L3 PeopleSoft HCM Application Specialist will perform Application Security functions as designated by the client.
Basic Skills:
Candidate must have 2 - 3+ years of experience in PeopleSoft HCM Applications v8.8 and PeopleTools v8.4x
Candidate must have 2 - 3+ years of functional experience in PeopleSoft Applications HCM (i.e. HR, PY, BB, BA, Query, Application Security).
Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or any related field; an MBA and/or CPA are a plus.
