VeriSign's Global Security Consulting Technical Services Practice provides a broad range of consulting and forensic accounting services to attorneys and other parties involved in litigation, arbitration or mediation and other alternative dispute resolution forums, as well as fraud investigations. Specialty practice areas include business interruption, investigation services, intellectual property disputes, economic and financial analysis, and insurance claims services.
The Technical Services Practice gathers, interprets, and analyzes massive volumes of data and applies financial, statistical, accounting, and computer forensics skills to provide cost-effective, proactive strategies and solutions to complex business disputes. In addition, we provide quantitative analytic solutions in instances where facts are at issue and the answers are buried in voluminous, complex collections of transactional data. We do so by developing the information management systems which allow our clients to manage that data so they can rely upon it to make informed decisions.
The Technical Services practice provides its consultants with the opportunity to work on a variety of engagements across all major industries. We currently offer the following services to our legal and corporate clients in each of our offices:

Education Required
Bachelors Degree required. Educational background in computer science / MIS, or other technical disciplines, is required. Strong analytical and database development skills are required. Technical certifications, or demonstrated progress towards certifications, in the aforementioned technical areas are beneficial.
Travel Requirements:
Extensive travel within and outside the United States is often required; incoming professionals should expect at least 50% travel. Many GSC engagements occur with little advance notice and are of indeterminate duration, requiring significant flexibility on behalf of our consultants.
Other Key Requirements:
* 3-5 years of experience providing technology consulting services focusing on database development, application development, and/or computer forensics in a law enforcement or Big 4 environment.
*5+ years of professional working experience.
* Experience with any of the following products / tools is beneficial: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Visual Basic, Microsoft Access, SQL, Encase, Microsoft Exchange or Lotus Notes/Domino.
