Our client is headquartered here in the Dallas Fort Worth area and has a need for an experienced Microsoft Solutions Architect for Enterprise wide Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Business Intelligence (BI) initiatives. The client is recognized as a leader in the area! As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for utilizing architecture models such Service Oriented Architecture and, Messaging Oriented Architecture. Partnering with various I.T. development teams, you will assist in the analysis, design, and development of the CRM and BI environment and database structures for a large-scale Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).
The Solutions Architect will be responsible for the full life cycle project scoping, analysis, development, implementation, and performance of the Enterprise environments. You will interact with various Executives, Directors, senior management, development teams, project manager, and external vendors.
The Solution Architect will provide and review design and evolutions on existing and future solutions, will assure proper knowledge transfer and support to operations, and will participate in all business projects concerning the company's Information systems. Candidate will represent the department towards the project and development teams, producing design, architecture, set up and methodology (software framework level), supporting developments and technical set up (software framework level). As a result, he/she will also provide the Technical Architecture department with visibility about the business trends and strategy. This will enable the architects to develop technical capabilities that map the business requirements.
Key Objectives:
-- Implement the strategic plan for support of future company information requirements.
-- Support effective and efficient business processes in partnership with other software and reporting development teams.
-- Identify ownership and accountability for enterprise information.
-- Ensure that information needs and business rules are in compliance with enterprise policies and standards.
-- Enhance the current strategy regarding the Software Framework supporting various Business Processes.
-- Lead and facilitate architecture definition, and application integration.
-- Assure operability and efficiency of the solutions, from conception to delivery.
-- Help to prepare the integration of company's with customers' and partners' business processes in a seamless way for the IS Software framework.
-- Propose future (mid-term / long-term) evolutions through knowledge and research on the market (emerging technologies), and propose new solutions through proven design and extensive validation testing (including anticipation on implementation and operational aspects).
-- Participate in evaluating new technologies to ensure the continuity and advancement of data and technology architecture within company information needs.
-- Build a framework for accurately capturing, sharing, distributing, securing, and leveraging company data resources.
Minimum Technical Requirements:
-- 7+ years Information Technology experience.
-- 4+ years experience in designing and programming applications primarily using Microsoft .Net Technologies.
-- Knowledgeable with architecture models such Service Oriented Architecture, Messaging Oriented Architecture.
-- Knowledgeable with web services.
-- Experience with MS BizTalk
-- Demonstrated ability with JAD, RAD, and Agile methodologies.
-- Expertise in relational database design (normalized and dimensional).
Required:
-- Strong ability to work with business units to formulate business and data requirements.
-- Ability to work with other database administrators to complete database designs and models.
-- Knowledge of Microsoft Networks and Unix.
-- Highly motivated individual with very good analytical skills dedicated to completing tasks on schedule.
Education:
-- BS or BA, in Information Systems, Management Information, or Computer Sciences desirable.
