The primary function of the Data Analyst is to ensure all data for an agent is correctly in the system prior to the testing and go-live deadlines.
Job Details:
.Identify gaps between established format standard and existing data
.Analyze the gap for the recommended solution, including performing research, as needed
.Receive approval for gap solution
.Determine whether or not the existing data is a good candidate for systematic conversion into the required format
.Communicate decision and expectations with external party
.Create repeatable, documented processes and tools for systematically manipulating the data
.Load data into the appropriate environments
.Verify data loaded into the system, ensuring duplicates and erroneous data is not included
.Coordinate with internal and external team members to meet/beat deadlines
.Prepare and implement plan for maintaining data, as needed, with external team members for time period between initial load and go-live as well as post-go-live
.Prepare special reports, as needed for each external party
.Verify and receive approval for special reports from external party
.Maintain ownership of complete data cleansing, loading, and reporting process for each external party, as assigned
.Support internal team members, as needed, to ensure data cleansing and loading process is completed on or ahead of schedule
Experience: Requirements include solid experience with Access queries, familiarity with VBA, and strong analytical skills. Good organizational and verbal and written communication skills are also required.
