We are seeking a Project Manager to join our fast growing team in Dallas, TX. The Project Manager is responsible for managing interactive development projects at the project level. Manages client expectations and the identification and resolution of interdependencies. Identifies opportunities and assists in development of new business.
What you do…
Project Management Methodologies, Practices and Processes
•Manages a group of projects ensuring all are on time, within scope and on budget.
•Identifies areas of potential risk and identifies and implements risk mitigation strategies on all assigned projects, escalating as appropriate.
•Creates timely, accurate and thorough project plans, EVAs and scope change documents for each assigned project.
•Effectively identifies appropriate tools and technologies to operate marketing campaigns.
•Coordinates and organizes project assets (images, data, documentation, etc.).
•Works with project leads to establish and develop strategy, approach and planning on account projects.
•Tracks industry data, analyzes results and trends, and recommends strategy.
Risk Identification, Assessment and Mitigation
•Documents budget and time implications of project scope modifications.
•Meets regularly with project leads to identify and assess project risks and identify mitigation strategies.
•Reviews project artifacts from other tracks in an effort to assure consistency in final project deliverable(s).
Oral and Written Communication
•Drafts and delivers all project communications, including internal and client status reports and PMO reports.
•Prepares financial and revenue reports and forecasts.
•Leads and facilitates project team meetings; participates in requirements and use case reviews, code walk-throughs and internal design reviews.
•Meets regularly with both internal and client stakeholders to communicate and demonstrate project progress.
Leadership & Team Management
•Reviews and offers feedback on all project management work product, artifacts and deliverables within assigned projects.
•Partners with operations to ensure workload distribution is optimized.
•Assigns tasks to the project team.
•Works with management to achieve company business goals and targets.
•Leads, mentors and coaches Project Coordinators.
Client Relationship Management
•Manages client expectations on a project level.
•Primary point of contact for issue identification and resolution at the project level.
•Leads and actively participates in client project kick off, status meetings and scoping meetings.
•Develops and provides status reports and PMO reports to the client.
•Conducts client, competitive and media research.
•Communicates project progress results to client team, as necessary.
•Identifies opportunities and assists in the development and presentation of pitches/proposals to new and existing clients. (RFP, Scoping Document, SOW).
What you need…
•BA/BS or advanced degree a plus
•2-3 years experience managing Web-based projects and project activities including prioritizing, budgeting, estimating, process implementation
•Experience working within an advertising agency environment, skilled at client management and familiar with marketing communications strategy and processes including online media, direct marketing and Web site development
•Well-organized, detail-oriented, energetic, proactive, independent and responsive to feedback; Proficient with MS Office applications; strong interpersonal capabilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills and prepared for fast-paced multi-tasking and working long hours under tight deadlines
