Program Manager-Disaster Relief Housing Assistance in Dallas, TX

May perform one or more of the following: PROGRAM MANAGER, DISASTER RELIEF HOUSING ASSISTANCE ACS is seeking experienced program managers to oversee housing assistance programs in Houston, Texas and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This position will be responsible for financial oversight, client relations and contract management in addition to interfacing with both corporate and business unit senior management. The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications: Demonstrated ability to manage federally funded disaster, emergency or housing programs Proven grant management/project management skills, i.e. profit and loss success, contractor/subcontractor oversight, financial tracking oversight and project management systems tracking and oversight Strong leadership and relationship management skills Experience with/working exposure to state offices of emergency management such as HUD,FEMA, DHS, Red Cross or SBA A combination of the following skills is preferred: Knowledge of federal policies such as 44CFR, the Stafford Act, FEMA IA, HUD CDBG? PMP Certification desirable Experience working in a post-disaster setting and/or managing disaster or emergency grant programs Established network of community, state or federal disaster response or housing assistance programs Successful business development/client growth experience All other duties as assigned.
