Job responsibilities:Manage individual web-based projects, as assigned.Perform maintenance requests on existing portal content/pages.Constantly consider information architecture as it applies to the portal.Create user interface design within established portal standards.Develop concepts as HTML and graphical prototypes.Contribute to overall usability and functionality of the portal.Help keep standards and guidelines up to date.Continual testing to develop 'best practices' for user experience. Experience: Required Skills:5+ years HTML/CSS experience with ability to create and troubleshoot code.5+ years experience in Web and User Interface design with examples.5+ years experience with Photoshop/Illustrator.Information architecture.Detail-oriented with good follow through and be able to work independently.Good problem-solving and communication skills: both written and verbal.Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.Ability to articulate technical concepts and solutions to technical and non-technical audiences and be able to work independently to effectively manage multiple priorities.Desired Skills:Experience with corporate portals.2+ Years experience with Flash.1+ Years experience with JavaScript.1+ Years experience with XML.1+ Years experience with Ajax, Websphere Portal.1+ Years experience with SDLC Project Management Methodology.Marketing background.
