Sr. Level Core Java Developer in Dallas, TX

We have several long-term contract opportunities for Sr. Level Core Java Developers who are highly skilled in Java Transaction Services, Back-end Development, and Multithreading. As well, all Developers are required to provide high level Object Oriented Design; so needless to say, having solid analytical and problem solving abilities is a must. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a team with outstanding technical talent. There is a significant amount of development and integration work to be done, of which you will be asked to make a substantial contribution. The team is responsible for establishing an enterprise SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture), in order to consolidate common business logic that is currently located in front-end client applications. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: . EXCELLENT verbal and written communication skills REQUIRED . 6 years + experience with Core Java . 4 years + experience with OO Analysis and Design . 4 years + experience developing on Unix Platforms (Sun Solaris, Linux) . Expert skills developing back-end, transactional multi-threaded applications REQUIRED. . Experience in Enterprise-Class Java Systems . Experience in Gap Analysis of existing software to current and future designs . Experience in Working with relational databases, preferably Oracle . Experience in UML . Experience performing integration testing . Strong design documentation skills . Experience designing enterprise applications from start to finish . Demonstrated problem-solving abilities . Beginning to develop Leadership skills and success using skills . Experience working through majority of Systems Development Life Cycle phases . Demonstrated ability to work well with most Customers at multiple levels (Leadership and Non-Leadership) and proven success doing so . Ability to work well in a Team environment . Proven ability to work well in cross-organizational Teams PREFERRED: . Proven architectural experience . Consulting background . Experience with Corba .
