Resource 1 is in need of a Business Objects Architect/Developer for a 3-6 month contract in Dallas , TX . Individual needs to have experience as a BI Architect and Business Objects Developer. Individual will convert BO Universes and Reports that currently read from a SQL Server database to read from the exact same model on a Netezza DB platform (100 reports built off of 8 different Universes). The second phase of this project will require the creation of 30 new reports (number of Universes is still TBD) based on modifications to the data model that will occur later in the project. Individual will need expert-level skills in Business Objects xI v3.1; knowledge of BI architecture concepts (aggregations, rollups, etc.); rudimentary knowledge of data modeling also necessary in order to ensure reporting requirements are handled within the data model enhancements.
