IT Procurement Manager in Dallas, TX

We have an immediate opening for an IT Procurement Manager. You will determine all shared 3rd Party IT Contracts. Develop a master list of all existing contracts that are currently shared with the majority investor, parent company of this large corporation. Review contracts to understand separation rights as required in the Energy & Utility industry. Conduct complete review of all shared contracts and identify and document the contract provisions (rights, obligations, etc.) related to separating the agreements. Develop master database to document and track all separation rights detail. Define separation strategy for each shared contract. Perform contract separation negotiation. Serve as primary focal point for supplier negotiations. Manage meetings between multiple parties and lead separation/disentanglement negotiations. Manage Sourcing Responsibilities. If acceptable terms cannot be achieved with current providers, this position may be called upon to lead sourcing activities to select alternative suppliers, including develop and lead RFP process, conduct supplier conferences, evaluate vendors, and select vendors.Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related fields of study. Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in leading contract negotiations, managing contracts, and sourcing, in the Information Technology area is required. Experience in the Electric Utility industry is a plus. Ability to negotiate a broad range of terms and conditions in highly competitive and sometimes, difficult settings. Strong experience in managing suppliers/vendors across a number of contractual and service level commitments is needed. Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to build agreement and positively influence team outcomes. Ability to work with and manage confidential information is essential. Certifications or Professional Credentials in Procurement and/or Contract Management are preferred.
