Our client is seeking several experienced and savvy Senior Solutions Architects. This position will be based on the East Coast. This position will require 50% - 100% travel. US Citizens or Green Card holders only apply.Position DetailsThe chosen candidate(s) will be responsible for participating in the definition and design of the enterprise architectures for our clients, with a focus on application and system development technologies. This includes the design and development of the project roadmap and the recommendation and design of IT systems for hardware, software, and network technologies. The selected individuals will also need to ensure that technical reviews of all applications developed follow the defined roadmap and are effectively designed in relation to the architecture. Experience working and interfacing at the C-level needed. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable presenting technical design, technical solutions and enterprise architecture solutions to clients/customers. Candidate should have excellent knowledge of E-Business solutions and implementations and should be familiar with standard E-Business frameworks and models. Experience: Bachelors Degree is required. MS or MBA with several years of relevant consulting experience is highly preferred.10+ years experience in Information Technology.5 - 10 years of experience in the design and development using Systems Development Life Cycle and Project Management Methodologies.In depth knowledge and experience in several of the following areas:Directory services (Active Directory, LDAP, Radius), networking technologies and protocols, systems security, systems management and monitoring, IBM Mainframe systems and applications, systems integration (EAI/ETL Tools), operations and support processes (Change Control, QA and Testing, etc.), development of international applications (Methods to account for language, currency, encryption, etc.), remote access solutions and technologies, Object-Oriented Design, Web Services, messaging solutions and technologies, messaging and transaction management.In depth knowledge and experience in several of the following technologies:COM+, ASP, Visual Basic, .NET, C/C++, Java/J2EE, RDBMS, MS SQL, Oracle, DB2, Unix, Linux, WinTel, IBM Mainframe, Scripting, Internet Technologies, IBM WebSphere Suite (Hosted on mainframe a plus), SOAP, XML.Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Strong presentation skills are mandatory in this role.Ability and willingness to travel extensively (80% or more)Additional Guidelines:Projects should have been a minimum of 20,000 hours (e.g., 10 people for a year) and they must have been the lead technologist.
