Sql Server DBA in Dallas, TX

responsible for day-to-day health of application databases & schema that holds the data. 2 primary SQL Server 2000 machines, running multiple databases & multiple international mirrors, data infrastructure will both grow in scale while undergoing logical consolidation. DBA will:Work with developers to design effective data storage & retrieval mechanisms. Work with developers to test, roll-out and roll-back changes. Consult with the Data Architect regarding issues of performance, capacity and schema design. monitor database servers , including warnings and alarms, to prevent problems. Tune database parameters to deliver maximum performance from existing hardware.
