Healthcare System Administrator in Dallas, TX

Perform Systems Administration on MS Windows based systems for multiple commercial customers in the Healthcare industry. Supported servers are Windows 2000/2003 systems, SBS2003 and MS Exchange servers and XP, W98 and Win2000 workstations. ? Perform systems administration functions, problem analysis, and systems monitoring. Provide assistance on identifying and troubleshooting Windows and Network related problems. ? Good trouble shooting skills, able to solve problems quickly and completely without assistance. ? Strong inter-personal and communication skills - customer facing, vendor liaison, able to work closely with upper management. Team player must be able to work well with other technical and management professionals. As always, grace under pressure is a must. ? Perform daily Outlook/Exchange administrative functions such as administration of public folders ? Troubleshoot Mail Delivery problems ? Maintain Public Distribution List Owners ? Monitors existing messaging infrastructure and server usage, ensuring proper working order. ? Maintains security levels ? Perform other duties as assigned

At least 5 years experience in large environment system administration required. At least 3 years recent experience with supporting MS Windows environment with experience in installing and configuring Windows 2000. ? Basic working knowledge of LAN networking/distributed computing environment (client/server). Experience in configuring network routers essential. Mostly Cisco devices used. ? 5 plus years experience in Microsoft Outlook system administration and/or client support. ? MSCE certification strongly preferred. ? Exchange 5.5/2000/2003 Administration- experience mandatory. ? Active Directory ? knowledge desirable ? Operating System (Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP) - knowledge ? Experienced in using the email package Microsoft Outlook ? Good organizational, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills. ? Excellent customer service skills. ? Ability to learn and apply technical information. ? Proven performance in a team environment. ? Self-Motivated and able to work without close supervision. ?
