Storage Area Network Engineer in DALLAS, TX

Robert Half Technology has teamed with a major law firm to find a qualified Storage Area Network (SAN) Engineer to perform administration of the firm?s storage area network. This includes installing, configuring, patching, testing, troubleshooting and supporting all aspects of SAN technology. Experience: Strong knowledge of SAN technology (Fiber Channel, iSCSI, storage allocation, storage virtualization and optimization, RAID levels), experience with SAN equipment & software, experience with replication and disaster recovery, strong knowledge of network communications standards & topologies and Windows Server 2003 platform are all required for this opportunity. Knowledge of VMware ESX 2.5.x, shared storage allocation for server clustering, booting operating systems from the SAN, and blade server technology experience is preferred.
