PL/SQL Oracle Developer in Dallas, TX

Robert Half Technology, the world's leader in technology staffing, is currently seeking an PL/SQL Oracle Developer for a contract to hire role with a prestigious firm based in Dallas, TX. The candidate must have extensive hands on Oracle PL/SQL experience and be able to take an application through the full lifecycle. In this role the candidate will be primarily responsible for building and validating complex applications from specifications generated from the Business Analyst/Designer who works directly with the Business Users. Must be able to take the functional specs, understand the requirements, ask appropriate questions to fill in the gaps and the program, unit test and coordinate with QA on any defects. Must have complex business logic experience. Preferred (but not required) skills include experience in a high volume transaction environment and Oracle Forms. Must have very good communication and interpersonal skills and thrive in a small team environment. Must be able to work independently and take ownership for your application. You must also have initiative and be self motivated. Multiple, immediate needs! A criminal background check and drug test will be required for this position.
