Robert Half Technology, the world's leader in technology staffing, is currently seeking a mid-level Java/J2EE developer for a contract to hire role for a creative marketing firm in Dallas, TX. In this role the candidate will design, develop, maintain, troubleshoot, enhance and deploy Java/J2EE enterprise applications running behind a Websphere application server. On a day to day basis, the candidate will do the following: -Develop Enterprise Applications using WSAD and CVS, utilizing languages including HTML, JavaScript, JSP, Servlets, EJB, SQL, & CSS. -Perform unit testing/quality assurance on own or other's code. -Understand and configure ORM tools, rule-engines, and J2EE applications. -Troubleshoot problems, perform testing/quality assurance, and support user acceptance testing. -Act as technical resource to others on a variety of functional issues -Demonstrate a broad range of skills within an Enterprise J2EE application environment -Work with other software development teams to insure project integration requirements -Work under strict architectural and corporate guidelines for technological compliance.
