Software Engineer/Architect in DALLAS, TX

Robert Half teamed with a robust manufacturer of mail sorting machines to find and place a senior level Visual C++ software engineer/architect in their downtown Dallas ofice. The ideal candidate will have: 1) Five or more years C++ experience with Visual Studio; 2) Experience with object oriented analysis design; 2) Experience using and knowledge of relational databases; and 3) Experience with MicroSoft Source Safe tools such as Clearcase, PVCS, Dimension 9, Rational Rose and/or any third party professional tool used for sourcing. Regular responsibilities in this role include: Design and develop applications using Visual C++ in Windows NT/2000/XP environment for configuring and controlling mail processing systems. Participate in software architecture design, code development, unit test development and software maintenance.
