We have multiple opportunities available for experienced Oracle Pro*C and Oracle PL/SQL Developers to work on a long-term assignment with one of Dallas-based clients. The primary assignment will be to complete programming, analysis, and design for efforts associated with the interface of a new POS solution. The product used is SAP Transactionware Enterprise, and it will be an interface to other client systems or between other client systems as needed. You will be involved in mentoring client assigned resources in Oracle Pro*C and Oracle PL/SQL.
3+ years of experience with Oracle Pro*C and Oracle PL/SQL in a UNIX environment is required. Experience with C, C++ or Java is preferred. Experience with AIX and Novell SuSE Linux is desired. 3+ years of overall Oracle experience is essential, and DB2 experience is helpful. MQ experience is needed. You must have good documentation skills and strong mentoring skills to be able to assist other developers on the team. Development experience with Oracle*Forms, and Oracle*Reports are a plus. Experience using WebSphereMQ as a method of sending and receiving messages or files is a plus. Availability for 24/7 application production support is part of this assignment. US citizenship is required for this position.
