Description:
Carries out the functions for developing the infrastructure to support the software systems needed to support JCPenney departments and
businesses in carrying out their corporate responsibilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Carries out assigned tasks in developing, implementing, and monitoring new infrastructure technology for JCPenney departments and businesses.
2. Carries out assigned tasks in developing technology to support the development process.
3. Maintains assigned infrastructure, making the necessary changes to assure they continue to meet the user departments' needs.
4. Assists in installing new technology and modifications to existing systems.
5. Stays alert for opportunities leading to new projects.
6. Keeps abreast of technological developments in all aspects of systems, communications, and data processing.
7. Monitors and reviews historical data for infrastructure arc hitecture.
RELATIONSHIPS:
1. Works with associates from the user departments and businesses in developing, implementing and maintaining the infrastructure
needed to support applications and communications systems.
2. Works with outside vendors in developing, implementing and maintaining assigned technology.
SKILLS:
Minimum 2 yrs of Intel desktop support experience.
Experience with root cause analaysis problem determination.
Comptia A= Certification, MCSE Cert. or equivalent work exper.
Exper with Mercury Test case Automation a plus.
