Department: Product Development Job Title: Project Manager New Product Development Reports To: VP Of Operations RESPONSIBILITIES PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT •New Product Candidate Research, Project Feasibility, Development, Testing •Source Components, Raw Materials, Manufacturing •Obtain, Record and Maintain Costing •Create Prototypes, Sampling, Photography •Create Spec Sheets & Processing Manuals •Manage Numbering Systems – Item Numbers, UPC, etc. Utilize & Maintain Systems •Communication with Raw Material Suppliers and Contract Manufacturers •Assist in Brand Management •Manage Packaging Update Projects •Manage Update Projects for Displays and Fixtures PROJECT COORDINATION •Assign Project Numbers to New Endeavors •Publish Product Development Agendas & Recaps •Create & Maintain Gantt Charts & Action Plans for Projects •Coordinate New Product Launches ASSIST QUALITY ASSURANCE •Component Inspection & Testing •Finished Good Inspection & Testing ASSIST INVENTORY CONTROL •Setting Up New Components & Items in All Systems •Ordering & Replenishment assistance •Cycle Counts and Liquidation Assistance ASSIST LOGISTICS •Track Shipments of New items & Order Updates •Back-Up Coverage PRODUCTION ASSISTANCE •Assist in Managing Mfg Plant Production Planning •Utilize Forecasting to Establish Demand •Assist in Supply Agreement Management PROVIDE BACK-UP TO OTHER AREAS AS NEEDED Experience: REQUIREMENTS •Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
