Technical Support in Dallas, TX

Our Dallas based client is seeking a very customer-oriented Technical Support Specialist to provide rapid resolutions to day-to-day customer issues. The Technical Support Specialist will build productive partnerships with the end users and their IT personnel. The Technical Support Specialist will provide support of web-based tools used to collect configuration data for wireless networks. In addition, responsibilities for the Technical Support Specialist include interfacing with internal customers regarding wireless network data. The Technical Support Specialist will be routing escalated issues to other engineers and project staff. <br/><br/>All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. All applicants applying for Canadian job openings must be authorized to work in Canada. Experience: Due to the level of customer interaction, effective interpersonal and team skills are essential. The Technical Support Specialist will possess a strong sense of following up and good verbal and written communication skills. Technical Requirements include 1+ years in the following: experience in providing technical support for a UNIX environment, high level of proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, some HTML, SQL Database experience required and some exposure to wireless network design, optimization and troubleshooting.
