Excellent opportunity for a Proxy/Firewall Network Engineer with one of our leading clients. Will create and implement configuration changes to Check Point and Netcache Proxy Servers and appliances. The work will consist of Project Oriented Tasks, not maintenance. Will be determining Business requirements and identifying and implementing corresponding rules.
The position requires a strong networking foundation with solid TCP/IP and an understanding of all the elements of networking. Firewall experience is a big plus (Check Point, Cisco). Need good experience with Proxy products (Savid, NetCache). Good UNIX background with a preference for Solaris. Need some flexibility in working hours for the occasional after-hours duties. Excellent Communication skills required.
