Our client is seeking a Network Manager to support their clients to hire on a contract to possible hire basis.
Duties:
- LAN Administrative duties on Microsoft networks for client and clients' customers.
- PC and Printer upgrades as needed.
- PC security management.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting for clients, on location and remotely.
- Taking Help Desk related calls as needed.
- Network management services utilizing N-Able technologies and N-Central products.
- Evaluate networks for potential service upgrades.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP and Vista Workstation.
- LAN Administrator experience.
- Outstanding customer service and public relations skills.
- Strong communication skills are a must, both verbal and written.
- Network management and administration skills are required.
- Professional in appearance and demeanor. Must maintain a positive attitude and a high degree of self-motivation.
- The ability to communicate across levels of technology knowledge is a must
Required technological knowledge includes:
- Windows Server 2000 and 2003, exchange email services, and Active Directory.
- Web interaction protocol (including DNS, SMTP, HTTP, etc) experience and administration is highly preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in a network administration/management role is preferred.
- MCSE and CCNA preferred.
