Robert Half Technology, the world's leader in technology staffing, is currently seeking a Tech Writer with a Business Analysis mindset for a 1-3 month contract for a client based in Uptown Dallas.
On a day to day basis, the candidate will collect process information from key players about how the incident management process should be handled specifically as it relates to the SAP project. This will be collected through personal interviews, observations of meetings with management, and personal research on existing documentation. This information will then be used to create an Operations Manual which will be referenced by the IT staff ranging from helpdesk to the CIO. This document will be created in Word and will link to relevant documents including: Visio, Screen shots, etc.

Experience: In order to qualify for this position the candidate must have 5+ years in a Technical writing role- Specifically must have prior experience in creating operating manuals within IT departments. Must also have strong Office 2003 or 2007 with Visio.
