Robert Half Technology, the world's leader in technology staffing, is currently seeking a DB2 DBA for a 2+ month contract for a Publishing firm based in Uptown Dallas.
Our client is migrating MySQL to DB2 and is seeking a senior level DB2 consultant to assist in migrating data and the main application running on it.
The main objectives of this project include:
- Tune DB2 database
- Create a plan to migrate the data from MySQL to DB2.
- Define management tools & strategy for maintaining database.

Experience: Must have experience with 5+ years of experience with DB2 in a DBA role, My SQL, and Linux. Must also understand objectives of the application design on database
