Responsibilities:
The Test, Build & Release Engineer is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining automated tests with xUnit. We are looking for bright individuals with the acumen and drive to succeed.
Essential Duties:
Develop unit, user acceptance testing, integration testing of all bug fixes and new features.
Develop and execute test suites, including manual, automated and data-driven regression testing, GUI testing, performance and stress testing, and reliability and recovery testing. Document and/or package test suites and make them available to all engineering and QA.
Design and execute test plans.
Review, validate and report quality issues and defects.
Manual and automation testing of web-based applications.
Additional Responsibilities.
Crate and document procedures for the build and release process.
Initiate and monitor application release and deployment process after business hours.
Control over QA and Stage environment configuration. Ensure that these environments are properly setup, configured, and available for each project as scheduled.
Qualifications:
Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience in lieu of formal education.
3+ years of testing ASP .net applications.
1+ years of writing automated UI tests.
Experience with functional, regression, performance and stability testing, including automated stress testing.
Experience with one or more of the following scripting languages: NAnt, Javascript, Perl, Ruby, Python and Linux/Unix Shell.
General knowledge of stored procedures and SQL queries.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Posse's creative problem solving skills.
Extremely detail oriented.
Ideal Candidate will have:
2+ years of experience installing and configuring IIS6/7 for high performance, scalable websites.
2+ years of installing, configuration and maintain Windows 2003 server systems.
2+ years of writing automated tests with xUnit.
Experience with FitNesse and WaitN testing.
Thorough experience using Visual Sourcesage and Subversion.
Solid understanding of software configuration management and release theory and methodologies.
Experience with continuous integration systems such as CruiseControl.net.
