Responsibilities:Works within an agile/iterative team environment of Java software engineers and will be responsible for assisting in architecture, design, and development of enterprise software products utilizing server side development methodologies, design patterns, best practices and technologies in the web and voice environment. Works within team environment to produce feature requirement, design and test documents, implements and tracks development timelines, negotiates feature sets with the development leads and director. Works with manager and team lead to coordinate activities, creates project schedules and conducts risk assessments to ensure timely delivery of robust and high quality product deliveryIdentifies and resolves project and software issues before testing. Assists in the design and development of test and simulation procedures in conformance with functional specifications and design requirements.
Experience: Skills required:This position requires a bachelor's degree in CS, EE, CE, or equivalent with at least 2 years of experience with software development in Java. Knowledge of Java, IVR, and server side technologies are required. The candidate must have experience working in a dynamic development environment utilizing agile/iterative processes. Should be familiar with JSE, JEE, Web/JEE containers, Web Services, HTTP, XML, Java Community Process (JCP), Eclipse, SaaS and SOA fundamentals. Desirable Skills are Sun Java Certification, familiarity with VoiceXML, CCXML, SCXML, SCA, multimodal and SIP/ Sip Servlet containers.
