JOB DESCRIPTION
CAN WORK REMOTELY -Can work anywhere in the US.
Need a Development Oracle DBA. We are looking for someone that is willing to do development DBA work in our product environment and perform both roles in our Test and Development environment.
This role designs applications required to automate business processes and meet business needs. The resulting design may run on multiple platforms and may be composed of multiple software packages and custom components. This role defines best practices in the critical evaluation and selection and / or development of the software components and hardware requirements of the applications and data, and the development of the application, including evaluation and selection of development methods, development processes, best practices and tools. Applications Architects are responsible for applications-related quality, performance, availability, scalability, and integrity. They are also responsible for the functional interface to applications and for ensuring application usability.
Candidate will be required to perform ongoing development and maintenance of new and existing databases and tools. Candidate also required to create database system design and implement database architecture, database administration, management and capacity planning of large databases (data warehouses).
SQL, PL/SQL, MySQL
. Apache Web Server
. Perl, HTML, shell and java scripts
. Unix (Solaris, Linux, HP-UX)
. ETL Processing & data integration/migration
. Oracle Net services, TCPIP DHCP and DNS
At least 5 years experience in Implementing ORACLE DataBases
At least 5 years experience in Developing Oracle Solutions
Certified in Oracle Database 9i or 10g either Associate or Professional
1 year contract
Work Shift: 1st shift
Weekend Coverage: Weekend coverage is required.
On Call: Needs to be on-call
Years Experience: 5 years
Travel Required: Travel is not required.
Education: Certified in Oracle Database 9i or 10g either Associate or Professional
