Job Description
Actively participates as the leader in the design, integration, implementation and management of the companys information technology environment
Determines the architectural direction and provides database design expertise to a team of software professionals who are developing application suites and system integrations.
Responsible for the overall systems architecture and technology selection.
Directs definition, sourcing, testing, implementation, and support of application solutions.
Defines product strategies and requirements.
Coordinates professional development and technical training of the Information Technology department to ensure skills are developed and enhanced.
As needed, travels to meet with users in company offices worldwide.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree with an Information Technology focus (preferably Computer Science or MIS); Masters degree preferred
Minimum 10 years of software development experience, with expert level experience in system and database architecture administration, configuration and customization
Experience with database models, in memory and caching technologies and architectures, load balancing, and remote systems monitoring and management.
Experience in defining, designing and implementing complex technical solutions
Experience in all phases of software development.
Strong background in multi-threaded, high performance software design.
Experience with Microsoft SQL platform, .Net framework and ASP
Experience supporting Windows environments and virtualization.
Knowledge of C#
Strong understanding of Web Development, HTML, XML, Performance tuning, TCP/IP, high availability solutions and security solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Fluency in other languages (Chinese, Korean, Spanish) helpful but not required.
Strong facilitation skills and experience working with both individuals and groups of 5 or more people.
Ability to work closely with people at all levels of an organization.
Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent judgment and decision-making.
Gap analysis experience.
Experience with data and process modeling including the use of modeling or case tools preferred, but not required.
