The majority of time will be spent developing and managing work plans for multiple projects, gathering requirements, maintaining/creating documentation, coordinating sub-project team plans, working with cross-team work plans, coordinating project efforts across teams, assisting with Business Change Planning across projects, scheduling/coordinating project meetings, and implementation planning. The candidate must be able to interact with Executive-level Customers.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in Information Technology
Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience using one or more project management tools (MS Project, EPMS, etc.)
Minimum 5 years demonstrated ability and success using problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated experience with UNIX Systems (preferably Solaris, Linux, and HP-UX) and Enterprise Storage Technologies (preferably NAS)
Experience with VMware ESX virtualization is preferred (preferably prior involvement on a project to move physical systems to virtual environments)
Must be able to interact and speak with a wide variety of People, from Systems Administrators and Developers to Senior Leadership in IT and the Business.
Minimum 3 years managing/leading IT complex, multi-project team projects, demonstrating solid Project Management capabilities
Minimum 2 years gathering and documenting business requirements
Minimum 2 years demonstrated ability to conduct and/or lead discussions with Business partners and Senior Technology Leadership.
Must be able to pick up a project that is in progress and become productive quickly after a brief knowledge transfer with the current PM
