Configuration Analysis Analyst (22700) in Dallas, TX

PEROT SYSTEMS CORPORATION is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. It is currently looking for a Configuration Analyst to join our team in DALLAS, TX. Job Responsibilities: Perot Systems is seeking a Configuration Analyst to support the XCELYS application. The configuration analyst will interpret system change requests, configures the requests into XCELYS, perform system testing, obtain client approval, and identify opportunities to automate operations using XCELYS. The role will vary for any given project based on the scale and scope of the project. Support the timely and successful configuration of XCELYS Perform business analysis on areas within the client environment. Run reports, research claim payment errors, and identify process improvements to increase auto-adjudication and payment accuracy. Prepare data for back-end loading and coordinate the loading with the IT staff. Complete all project and configuration related documentation including policies, decisions, request tracking and status, test cases and results. Respond to requests regarding system configuration and processing logic. Other general duties include: serving as the customer contact for application support and evaluating proposed product functionality. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate with department leaders are required. Ability to function independently and as a team player. A self starter - must be able to multi-task and handle multiple ongoing projects. Candidates must demonstrate tenacity for application problem-solving and a solid work ethic. Required Skills: 2+ years payer system configuration experience 3+ years application troubleshooting and strong analytical skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Advanced skills on Microsoft Excel Knowledge of database table structure Desired Skills: 1+ years experience with PL/SQL Developer for analyzing system data 2+ years DIAMOND or XCELYS implementation or consulting experience Minimum Educational Requirements: BS in business, computer, or healthcare related field or applicable experience Perot Systems is committed to Equal Employment Opportunity.
