Senior Data Warehouse Architect in Dallas, TX

Our client is looking for a Senior Data Warehouse Architect will lead and consult on all the stages within the data warehouse. This would include overall design, implementation, integration of data warehouses and data environments; construction and testing, including data design, database architecture, metadata and repository creation.Responsibilities: Define and maintain the Data Warehouse Target ArchitectureDevelop plan to achieve the Data Warehouse Target ArchitectureProvide technology leadershipLeverage the client*s Enterprise Architecture Relationship Provide technical oversight to Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence design and development activities. Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree1 Year experience in Data Warehouse ETL Development2 Years experience in Data Movement Design and Development5 Years experience in Data Warehouse ArchitecturePreferred Qualifications:Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Computer Science or Information Systems Data Management Association (DAMA) CertificationPrior experience designing and building enterprise conceptual or logical data models using architecture modeling tools.Minimum of 7-10 years related experience in Data Warehouse engineering and development life cycles.Ability to work well with and influence multiple teams, including internal and external departments and organizations. Prior experience delivering database solutions using RDBMS and OODBMS technologies. Experience designing large scale analytical databases across multiple operating systems (Windows, UNIX, Teradata).
