Design, develop, modify and implement software programming applications for very specialized, proprietary products.Support software applications and operating systems for specific product applications.Develop detailed data and processing requirements in components of the enterprise applicationDesign, create and test code that meets assigned requirements, design specifications, follows standards, is easy to maintain, and is free from defects.Identify and propose areas of improvement throughout the software development process.Develop and maintain software documentation to ensure all enhancements, fixes, and new product enhancements are properly documented and traceable.Travel to customer site for install and support of software. Requirements: Must be able to work for any U.S. entity without sponsorship needs.Job history showing mostly 2-3+ years per job as a permanent employee. Locals only (no relocation offered).BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.2-5 years experience in software developmentExperience with C++ and Windows development platformSQL ServerFamiliarity with software version configuration management.Ability to work independently on single projects, as well as in a team environment collaborating on large system related projects.Ability to travel (up to 40%)Pluses: Visual Basic, JAVA, general software engineering and development techniques including GUI development on Linux and Windows.
