Analog Power EngineerResearches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes. Must be willing to accept a wide variety of work assignments supporting the total end-to-end process of capturing, designing, developing, testing, manufacturing, and life-cycle support of electronic systems. Need ability to work well in an interdisciplinary environment. Position requires strong analog design with the emphasis on power, power system distribution, power grids, estimating, testing and excellent troubleshooting skills. Digital design experience also required.RequirementsA BSEE and at least 5 years of design engineering experience. Must possess strong general electrical engineering knowledge and be familiar with circuit design and components to include electronics testing and troubleshooting. Experience in electronic system and subsystem design and test, systems analysis, software-driven operations and test schemes. Ability to develop system and subsystem performance requirements. Ability to use test equipment to support acceptance testing, manufacturing production and in-process testing, data processing and analysis. Must be able to obtain a minimum SECRET clearance.Desired skills Electronic analog system design encompasses the full life cycle of electronic systems development. Must be able to perform requirements definition, design trades, interface definitions, development estimating and tasking. Position requires strong analog design with the emphasis on power, power system distribution, power grids, estimating, testing and excellent troubleshooting skills. Proficiency with electronic analyzers and other troubleshooting tools is needed. Top Secret clearance is a plus.Job location is Dallas, TX, relo assistance available
