Responsible for designing and creating technical requirements needed to develop data migration and on boarding tools for on boarding customers (Legacy and new customers). Work closely with the development team in the technical design of the data migration and on boarding tools for customer implementations. Analyze legacy and replacement applications to develop technical requirements needed to build data migration tools. Work with the Business Analyst implementation lead to define and create the overall data migration and on boarding processes. Work closely with Operations, the Business, and Marketing to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the Service Parts Logistics business. Travel a few times per quarter is required. Strong J2EE development and/or technical design experience with enterprise applications (preferably with data migration experience), minimum 5 years experience required. Technical experience actively leading or working on technical upgrades with BEA Weblogic, Oracle 10g, etc for an enterprise application, minimum 2 years experience required. Good understanding of Service Parts Logistics industry or related Inventory space preferred. Strong data analysis experience designing data migration processes and tools with Oracle DB (strong SQL), minimum 2 years experience. Strong understanding of data migration and implementation processes preferred. Project Management experience leading small projects, minimum 1 year experience required. Good consultative, oral/written communication skills, analytical ability, planning, organizing, decision-making, problem solving, initiative, judgment, and the ability to work effectively with client and management staff. Create project plans using Microsoft Project and Power Point to obtain project approval. Create technical requirements using Microsoft Word and Excel to be handed off to the development and/or system teams. Bachelor degree in Computer Science/related discipline or the equivalent in education and work experience; relevant work experience of 8-10+ years. Candidate may be offered a permanent position, Candidate must be able to with technical upgrades to the application. Must have experience with Java, WebLogic, and Oracle 10g. Used SQL and XML in the past, and technical knowledge of development data migration tools.
