JOB DESCRIPTION: During this assignment candidate will design and develop high quality enterprise level applications utilizing technologies across all tiers (Web UI, application, service, business domain, persistence). She or he will follow agile development methods and disciplines in a dynamic business environment where quality, innovation, collaboration, and the customer focus are highly valued. Candidate will analyze business requirements, and create high quality solutions that meet acceptance criteria. As a part of everyday development, creates and executes automated unit tests and high level functional tests. Supports production applications by analyzing issues and providing solutions. Candidate must have strong Web UI development experience using JSP, Struts, HTML, JavaScript, DHTML - Minimum 2 years. Strong J2EE skills with a focus on EJB, JDBC, and JMS - Minimum 2 years. Knowledge of Rich Web-based UI technologies like AJAX preferred. Expertise in modeling complex business domains using OO methods and design patterns. Good oral/written communication skills, analytical and problem solving skills, initiative, judgment & the ability to work effectively with customer and management. Ability to work in Windows, Unix, and Linux environments preferred. Experience using IntelliJ IDEA, Ant, CVS preferred. Experience with developing applications for transportation logistic industry preferred.
