Senior SQL Server DBA in Dallas, TX

Main responsibilities will include database systems architecture, planning, modeling,development, automation, monitoring, performance tuning, backup and disaster recovery. This is a highly visible role within the organization as you will have primary ownership

Support ad-hoc queries from user community

Troubleshoot application errors and Update Production data

Data loads and extractions from/to third party service organizations

Implement database maintenance procedures for company databases

Implement schema changes and stored procedures for development projects

Perform data integrations between databases and data loads from external sources

Planning, deployment, maintenance and performance tuning of databases

Serve as team member developing in-house applications

Mentor junior DBAs

Experience: ** 7+ years of systems and database experience; previous database administration experience is a must
** 4+ years of experience maintaining and tuning Microsoft SQL Server databases
** Extensive knowledge of SQL programming is required
** Experience maintaining a high volume, mission critical application in an Application Service Provider ( ASP ) delivery model is desirable
** Direct experience with creating disaster recovery plans; proven track record of successfully executing plans is highly desirable
** Willingness and flexibility to work off hours as needed
