Desktop Technician - Dallas (Job #5810) in Dallas, TX

Position Desktop Technician
Location: DALLAS, TX 75201
6 month Contract to Hire
Full Time pay will be between 33-40K

Candidates must have current experience and a demonstrated ability to
support Microsoft OS and Microsoft desktop application products: Windows
XP and 2000, Windows 2000, Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel and
Outlook. Relevant certifications will be considered including: MCP, A+,
MCDST.
We would like to see resumes that demonstrate IT growth and
demonstrated leadership qualities.

contact and customer service sensibilities a must! We need a smart,
motivated individual who understands problem solving methodology's, is a
detail oriented, self starter, a quick learner and a good team player. We need a person with good common sense!

SPECIFICATIONS

A. Education: High School Graduate or
equivalent. Prefer some College

B. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of technical support
experience for desktop computers including support of software, word processing,
spreadsheet, electronic mail, and database software packages. Prefer experience in
corporate environment

C. Physical : Will be required to handle objects up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

D.Communications: Must communicate effectively with
in-house users, including both technical and no technical personnel.
Must be able to interface with management in an effective manner.
Individual must possess excellent customer-service skills

E. Working Conditions: Subject to ordinary office
environment where the area is well-lighted, ventilated, and air
conditioned. Noise level is moderate. Flexibility in work hours is a
must due to off-hours support requirements. Dress is
business casual
