Sr. Business Analyst in Dallas, TX
Our N. Dallas client has an immediate opening for a Business Analyst on a full-time staff basis.
The incumbents responsibilities will include the day-to-day work with leadership, peers, and International subsidiary representatives to implement new solutions, resolve outstanding issues, seek opportunities, and recommend/implement sound business solutions. The ideal candidate would have experience with planning and financial related management applications. Responsible for redefining business processes to maximize potential of software / systems tools.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS & WORK EXPERIENCE
* Position requires a bachelors degree or equivalent
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role utilizing Visio and MS Project
* Previous UAT experience
* Previous financial management application implementation or support experience is desired - Hyperion Essbase experience is highly desired
* Ability to think strategically and to develop and construct business technology strategies and roadmaps.
* Must have excellent oral and written communications skills, ability to manage briefings with senior level management, and to interface effectively with staff and users.
* Ability to present and discuss both non-technical and technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding is also required.
* Must have the ability to span the boundary between departments, organizations, and subsidiaries in leading teams to collaborate effectively on meeting company and IST technology initiatives with the ability to resolve conflict.
* Ability to exercise independent judgment and utilize creative problem solving techniques in a highly complex environment using leading edge technology and/or integrating diverse user systems.
