Robert Half Technology is currently seeking an Entry Level DBA for a high profile architectural firm located in Downtown Dallas. In this contract to hire role, our client is seeking a stable candidate who is interested in remaining and growing within their firm for the long term. Must be process oriented, possess good communication skills, enjoy working with and on a variety of teams and enjoy mentoring and supporting others (users, analysts, etc...). Must also be able to multi-task, prioritize own work, have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. This role will support an implemented Oracle based ERP system. Responsibilities include performing database/application tuning and performance monitoring. Monitor application hardware platforms. Will be responsible for monitoring Oracle application server, forms and report server processes. Develop and own the patch and upgrade migration process. Recommend and develop new oracle views, procedures, triggers, alerts, etc. Will also provide customer support to users as needed.
