Senior Web Analyst / Project Manager
Responsibilities
Responsible for delivery of projects from assisting in approval process, developing plans and budgets, through handoff to the production development group.
Work directly with business owners from numerous business units around the world to define project objectives and goals.
Understanding of web technology (ie .content management systems, portals, business intelligence tools) Create plans for projects (MS Project) and report on project progress to senior level executives.
Responsible for organizing highly complex activities for the development, implementation, and maintenance of projects.
Ensure project and process quality
Develop and manage issue resolution process
Select and manage consultants
Develop and maintain effective procedures to collect problem reports, enhancement requests, and strategic objectives for IT and Business process plans. Collect and communicate priorities for resolving issues presented.
Manage projects to achieve planned schedules, costs and results. Resolve conflicting demands on resources.
Maintain effective ongoing communications with the business and IT community and operational management regarding system plans, projects, budgets, expenditures, and policies.
Support the continuous improvement process.
Ensure adherence to company policies, standards, and procedures.
Ability to plan, estimate, and schedule multiple tasks and develop detailed resource and project plans
Significant knowledge of information technologies, especially those used for web design and application integration.
Ability to effectively gain ownership for program-wide issues by the appropriate management group and the ability to drive issue resolution
Experience: Required Experience / Skills
Experience implementing and managing multi-site, global implementations.
Proven experience implementing or managing projects interfacing to one or more of the following Ariba, SAP, Siebel or other ERP/CRM systems.
Experience managing consultants and off-shore software development teams remotely.
General understanding of major business processes, such as sales order management, finance, HR, purchasing, manufacturing.
Experience developing and enforcing standards and procedures for project deliverables, quality assurance, walkthroughs, issue reporting, and change management
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
10 plus years IT experience
Software Project Coordination or Management
Software Project Planner/Scheduler
Knowledge of technologies such as CMS/GMS, XML, RosettaNet, and SAP BAPI an IDOC.
Application knowledge with middleware tools such as CrossWorlds
MS-Project or Primavera Project Management tool (5+years)
SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) experience with Waterfall, Iterative or RAD Development
Knowledge of Earned Value Management
Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook
