Robert Half Technology, the world's leader in technology staffing, is currently seeking a Senior SQL Database Administrator for one of our clients located in Irving, TX. In this contract to hire role, the candidate will assume the DBA duties for the company and their clients. Currently there are 35 databases with 6 instances of SQL 2005 running. The current size of the data warehouse is 1 TB. This position will assist the Data Architect in growing the data warehouse to 15 TBs. The candidate will also assist with development duties about 30% of the time. The ideal candidate is someone who has a minimum of 3 years experience as a SQL DBA, some exposure to SQL database development, and who wants to grow into a lead data architect role during their career.
