Lead Web Technology Analyst in Dallas, TX

A senior-level professional, the Systems Development Senior Specialist is competent to work on complex projects and applies an in-depth knowledge of engineering/automation concepts, practices and procedures. The incumbent regularly works under deadlines and is capable of handling extreme workloads. The Systems Development Senior Specialist acts independently, operating with only general direction; errors at this level may cause significant disruption and/or major cost. Incumbents may provide guidance to and assist in training less experienced staff. Incumbents are responsible for the installation, development, implementation, and customization of hardware and software system elements.
REPRESENTATIVE PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, develop, install, implement, fine tune, documents and/or maintain databases, database dictionaries; monitor standards and procedures and integrate systems through database design and administration
  • Code, test, and debug programs or selected components based on defined specifications. Develop accurate and consistent software quality assurance documentation including test plans, test cases and oversee the execution of test cases
  • Application of configuration management procedures for changes to the operating system files and software.
  • Participate in customer meetings. Gather and document customer requirements. Resolving day to day end user problems
  • Act as key liaison between product core team, customer and offshore development teams (Developers, DBAs etc)
  • Assist with requirements analysis and scope out design capabilities within the product
  • Conduct day to day project activities with the customer and project team, participate in status meetings and maintain status reports, identify and escalate project risk items and issues
  • Manage application server administration and source code control
  • Write and manage application level ACS related security procedures and processes
  • Keep up to date on information on most available web technologies in the market, attend forums
  • Work closely with Networking team and Service Delivery Managers for regular server maintenance
  • Project requirements gathering, peer review process, test planning, test coordination and execution, etc
  • Manage day to day incidents reported by customers
  • Communicate with other HRIT/External Vendor teams as needed
  • Maintain exceptional customer relations to ensure successful implementation and continued steady-state environment
