General Description:
Opportunities for Program Managers that have experience as leaders of major initiatives within business and IT. Primary accountability is to ensure the accomplishment of business objectives through the successful execution of programs and projects. Accordingly, program managers will be accountable for designing, leading, and delivering work efforts aligned to strategic and corporate priorities. Additionally, partner with senior executives to ensure business needs are well understood, resources are appropriately allocated across all corporate initiatives, and to coordinate major initiatives with business unit and operational priorities.
Must have the ability to lead and manage multiple projects. Must have portfolio management, resource allocation experience. If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, keep reading! Experience: Required Experience/Skills:
- Strong ability to organize and marshall organizational resources.
- 7+ years IT & Business Project & Program Management.
- Experience managing at least 2 major programs across multiple divisions in excess of $5,000,000 and/or in excess of 12 months in duration.
- Program-level risk, financial and delivery management.
- Full life cycle project management (Develop project plan, budget through project closing).
- Excellent problem solving, presentation and leadership skills.
- Ability to comprehend, analyze and communicate the "big picture" to others.
- Manages multiple changing priorities.
- Requires excellent analytical ability, facilitative, consultative, communication skills, and strong judgment.
- Provides Thought Leadership to client.
- Ability to manage managers.
- Deals well with ambiguity.
- Able to enlist support of cross function teams in large organizations.
- Thrives in complex organizations.
- Local Candidates Preferred.
